Чтобы изменить просвет действительно стоит воспользоваться ключем для аммо, помню на аисте такой был для передней каретки и рулевой.

А вообще наверно можно отсчитать сколько-то витков сверху пометить и крутить дотуда, предварительно очистив резбу.
