(1 Вариант) Ванильная версия прокачки оружия и брони, ничего кроме апгрейдов не было затруто;
Известные проблемы и несовместимости, а может не надо. (((: Некоторые стволы, вроде СВУ или-же 9а91 имеют по 1 заблокированной ячейке, наследственная болячка еще с версии 2.4, спокойно перекочевала сюда и решения её проблемы у меня нет до сих пор. Если-же вы знайте решение проблемы, то Я буду рад послушать или-же получить исправленные конфиги;

Is there a guide explaining the mod’s mechanics, like the repair system? I see damaged guns having disassemble options and I assume they are possible to repair without having to pay a mechanic, but no instructions as to what I need or where those items come from.
It’s really a long and complicated topic but I’ll try to keep it short. You disassemble weapons and armor to get materials that you can repair stuff with or sell them. You also get special parts by disassembling items that will be needed to upgrade your gear. That stuff is usually market by a yellow * symbol. There are a few ways to go about repairing a gun, for example: The first is the straightforward and very expensive one where you pay your faction mechanic to repair your gun. The second one is to bribe your mechanic with vodka and use his vice (that opens a whole repair window) where you can change the barrel of the gun and do other repairs to get % durability. All of this depends on the actual state of the parts that you’re using to repair your gun. The third way is to buy repair kits (look like boxes and stuff) that can be used in connection with other items, for example, gun oil, to achieve a certain % of repairs. These kits are expensive as well but you can make them work by gaining a partial repair through them that you otherwise couldn’t get making the repair at the mechanic cheaper. So the effect is if you’ve would pay 100,000 RU for 100% repair at your Mechanic, that makes 50% 50,000 RU, but with a repair kit and some additional items you might be able to gain 50% for 30,000 RU. The thing to look out for is that all repair kits and items be it for outfits or guns are specific. They are specific for what kind of guns they are (pistols, shotguns ect.) and all of them can only be used when your items is on or over a certain condition %. So, for example, if you buy a repair kit that works only on 50% durability guns you won’t be able to repair a gun with that is currently on 35% condition. There is a item in your inventory, a paper, that tells you the exact condition of all the items you’re carrying. Kinda hard to explain but these are the basics. I’ll be happy to answer any specific questions you might have.

I don’t know how helpful/accurate this is for Anomaly, but someone sent me this older Reddit post for Last Day.

Could you expand on the vice option? There’s a vice in Cordon if you take out the military. I’ve used it in the past, but didn’t have any spare parts. 1. What exactly do I use to disassemble weapons to get spare parts for the vice? 2. What other items besides the spare parts and vice do I need to repair guns?
You disassemble stuff with a multitool, Swiss knife, crowbar, hammer. there are multiple items. Basically you can disassemble everything with a multitool & Swiss knife. For the vice, it depends what you want to do, for example, if you want to change the barrel on your 5.56 rifle you need a 5.56 spare barrel, a barrel change kit for that caliber bought of a trader and the vice.
I use a vice here: Youtu.be
Honestly, I don’t use the vice much and someone else can probably explain it better but you can see the basics in the video.

I can’t seem to repair my AEK. It’s at 37% (not rust or worn, just normal AEK). I got lots of gun parts, but even with the 5.45 kit and lots of compatible parts, I have no options, just the kit, which says can’t be used because the gun needs no barrel.
Could someone explain if there is actually any economy in using the vice vs waiting until you get a 40% gun and paying a mechanic?
I fouind a guide online and put it through google translate, it helped me a lot, I didnt know you could actually restore parts. Its actually a really good mod, it’s just worded really badly. In the discord I’ve asked if anyone can write a concise guide to put in game and then I’ll see if I can figure out how to get it in game, but for now this is as good as it gets.
I figured it out: you need to buy limited use repair kits to fix a gun, but this actually costs at least 3x as much as just paying the mechanic.

Well, it’s more worth to repair an expensive gun with the repair kits than to buy a new one. Yesterday I found a L96 AWSM sniper, I managed to restore it to 100% condition by changing its parts, a new one would cost 100k rubles at least judging by its stats (it’s better than the SV98), I spent 20k with the kits to get it to 85% condition, then I used a cleaning kit and a lubricant that I had to get it to 100%.

How much did mechanic quote you?

I reckon it was more than 100k rubles.

So maybe it makes sense if you repair the gun from 0%, but it should always make sense and be far cheaper to fix a gun yourself than pay a mechanic.
Mechanic = parts AND labor.
DIY = just the parts, you found those already for free off dead enemies.
Doesn’t make sense any other way.

Not from 0%, also if the gun’s condition is below 30% it’s not worthy to repair it, since you’d need to change the barrel and spend another 7k or so on a barrel swap kit. If it’s below 30% condition you should dismantle it to get its parts.
You said in one of your posts above that a kit is at least 3x more expensive than paying the mechanic to repair the gun for you. I play in the master difficulty, and any gun that has a low condition the mechanic will charge at least the price of a new one to repair it. I don’t know if the difficulty you play has anything to do with it, but in my case it’s way cheaper to repair it myself.

Do you have hardcore economy turned on? Because I didn’t change Master.

Nope. The only setting I changed that might make this happen is the «loot depending on rank», which I unmarked.

Only thing I can think of is a heavy discount for «simple» or historic rifles. I repaired one of the «type» rifles. It also allows all upgrades from mechanic without needing tools, unlike other guns.
the AWR system is worth when you want to get a rusty/worn gun to be a regular so you can use the full upg path
also worn wpns are easier to get the main problem is the parts which need restoration for the gun to be replaced in order to be regular
when you put the gun to a vice you need to have barrel and repair kits 4 slot and all spare parts in new condition , you also need to check if the gun is in modification mode and usaly that is when the condition is 100% when you put it in vice
if your avg worn gun is dropping between 30-45% for a 50k gun you save about 10-15k but we are talking about serious time investment
I put together this new interface. From my experience this should be self explanatory on first sight. Any feedback?
That looks miles better than what’s already there.
It took me a bit to understand the vice, (Still trying to figure out how to restore weapon parts with the file/ramrod.) but I watched a youtube video that explained it quite well. Repairing outfits is a bit simpler than repairing weapons
How to repair outfits: Youtube.com
How to repair weapons: Youtube.com
The repair interface Rincewind suggests actually looks pretty sexy tbh. Someone make a mod that uses that pls.
Note: I don’t think you can repair armor that is below 40% durability, though I am not 100% sure about that. about 90% sure.
